Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and reception will take place indoors.
Is the location wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the ceremony and reception locations are wheelchair accessible!
What is the dress code?
This is a formal event and we ask that you dress accordingly. Guests should wear gowns, fancy cocktail dresses, dressy pantsuits, suits and ties, etc.
Are my children invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We do not have a hotel block, but we have compiled a list of local hotel recommendations on our "Where to Stay" page. As an alternative to reserving a hotel room, guests can book a rental stay through Airbnb or VRBO.
What about transportation?
Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation. There will be plenty of (free) parking right at The Powerhouse!
For those who wish to enjoy some adult beverages or who prefer not to drive in the city, we encourage you to use a rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft.
At midnight, a bus will arrive to shuttle some of our night owl guests from The Powerhouse to Vue Rooftop Lounge for a late-night after party celebration.
When does the event end?
The reception will end at midnight. Those who wish to keep the party going can join us at Vue Rooftop Lounge afterwards for a late-night after party celebration.
Is there anything I should do or see while I am visiting Western New York?
Yes! Visit our "Things To Do" page to see our list of recommendations!
Where are you registered?
We are registered at Zola and Target. Please visit our Registry page.
Are there any COVID restrictions or requirements?
At this time, there are no COVID restrictions or requirements. While it's not a requirement, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask. Please note we will not be supplying masks at the venue, so you will need to provide your own. We expect everyone to be respectful of each guest's circumstances and choices.
A person with COVID-19 is considered infectious starting two days before symptoms developed, or two days before the date of their positive test if they do not have symptoms. Those who test positive and/or who are not are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home. Thank you for looking out for one another.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no", so we can plan accordingly.
